I look at the everyday small things that are there if only just for a moment. I am interested in the everyday sounds, out of context or in context. The immediacy of Art, something coming together in front of our eyes, it may have just been there for a small moment and then gone but these things stay with us, sometimes in a big way or sometimes in a small way but with our own understanding of ourselves, we keep them as our own.
We each respond to the world in our own way from our own understanding of the way we look at life. So the most interesting thing for me is we could all see the same Art work but we all walk away with our own understanding of each experience. We consciously or unconsciously take ownership of the Art work. So with my work I give it up to whoever wants to take it with their personal understanding.
